Acceptable Use Policy
This Acceptable Use Policy ("AUP") describes the rules that apply when you use Logisent Studio, including any related websites, applications, APIs, and services we provide (the "Service").
By accessing or using the Service, you agree to comply with this AUP, our Terms of Service, Privacy Policy, and Security Overview.
1. General Principles
You agree to use the Service:
- Only for lawful purposes and in compliance with applicable laws and regulations.
- In a way that respects the rights and privacy of others.
- In accordance with this AUP and any written agreements with us.
- Without attempting to bypass, disable, or abuse our security or usage controls.
2. Prohibited Activities
You may not use the Service to:
2.1 Illegal or Harmful Behaviour
- Engage in any activity that is illegal under the laws of Québec, Canada, or your local jurisdiction.
- Promote or facilitate fraud, scams, or deceptive business practices.
- Distribute malware, ransomware, spyware, or any other malicious code.
- Support violence, terrorism, human trafficking, or other serious harms.
- Stalk, harass, or threaten individuals or organizations.
2.2 Abuse, Harassment & Hate
- Generate or distribute hate speech targeting protected groups.
- Generate targeted harassment, bullying, or doxxing.
- Generate content that encourages self-harm or suicide.
2.3 Intellectual Property & Content Rights
- Infringe or misappropriate copyrights, trademarks, or other IP rights.
- Generate or use content in a way that violates third-party terms or licenses.
- Use the Service to impersonate brands or individuals in a misleading way.
2.4 Spam, Misuse & Service Abuse
- Send bulk, unsolicited, or automated messages ("spam") via generated content.
- Use the Service primarily to generate low-quality or mass marketing content at scale.
- Attempt to scrape, harvest, or collect data from the Service outside intended use.
- Interfere with normal operation of the Service, including denial-of-service attempts.
- Attempt to reverse engineer, probe, or bypass technical limitations or security measures.
2.5 High-Risk & Sensitive Uses
You may not use the Service in any context where incorrect or delayed output could reasonably result in:
- Death or serious bodily harm.
- Serious damage to critical infrastructure.
- Real-time medical diagnosis or treatment decisions.
- Legal advice, financial advice, or other regulated professional services presented as expert, unless a qualified human professional reviews and approves the outputs.
3. Accounts, Access & Security
- You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your login credentials.
- You must not share your account with unauthorized persons.
- You must notify us if you suspect unauthorized access or security issues.
- You must not attempt to access other users’ workspaces or data.
4. Use of Your Own API Keys & Integrations
The Service may allow you to connect your own third-party accounts and API keys (for example, Google Gemini, LinkedIn, X, Meta, and other platforms).
- You are responsible for complying with each third-party platform’s terms and policies.
- You are responsible for all costs charged directly by those third-party providers.
- You must not use the Service to violate rate limits, spam rules, or abuse protections of those platforms.
- You must not store or share third-party credentials in an insecure way.
5. Fair Use & Resource Limits
To protect the stability of the Service, we may apply reasonable usage limits, including limits on:
- Number of workflows or agents per account.
- Number of requests or tokens processed per time period.
- Concurrency for long-running or resource-intensive tasks.
We may throttle, temporarily block, or adjust access if usage significantly exceeds normal patterns or impacts service quality for other users.
6. Enforcement
If we reasonably believe that you are violating this AUP, we may, at our discretion:
- Warn you and request that you correct the behaviour.
- Temporarily restrict certain features or integrations.
- Disable or suspend your access to the Service.
- Terminate your account in serious or repeated cases.
- Report illegal activities to law enforcement where required by law.
Where appropriate and lawful, we will try to contact you and give you an opportunity to correct the issue before suspending or terminating access.
7. Reporting Abuse
If you believe that someone is using the Service in a way that violates this AUP, please contact us at support@logisent.ca with as much detail as possible.
8. Changes to this Policy
We may update this AUP from time to time to reflect changes in our Service, applicable laws, or best practices. When we make material changes, we will update the "Last updated" date at the top of this page. If you continue using the Service after an update, you agree to the revised version.
